Reserch Stations and Farms

Research at the university entails the welfare of the farming stakeholders and society at large. It is organized at the zonal, regional and at station level basis. It has networking of research throughout the state. All the three agroclimatic zones of the state are under the jurisdiction of the University. To combat with the agro-climatic zone wise problems it has Zonal Agriculture Research Station in each zone. Some of which derive further strength from regional and other research stations keeping in view all the lead and verification functions assigned to respective zones.

Agro-climatic zones
A. Nothern HillsIt includes three districts of Chhattisgarh viz.,
(1) Sarguja (2) Jashpur (3) Korea
B. Chhattisgarh PlainsIt includes eleven districts of Chhattisgarh viz.,
(1) Durg (2) Raipur (3) Bilaspur (4) Dhamtari (5) Janjgir-Champa (6) Kanker (7) Kawardha (8) Korba (9) Mahasamund (10)Raigarh (11)Kanker
C. Bastar PlateauIt includes four districts of Chhattisgarh viz.,
(1) Narayanpur (2) Jagdalpur (3) Bijapur (4) Dantewara
